Bez Obmezhen is a rock band from Mukachevo that has been on the Ukrainian stage for more than 25 years. The band played its first show on 14 January 1999. It is led by vocalist Serhii Tanchynets, who has played in it from the very beginning together with guitarist Ihor Rybar. In its music Bez Obmezhen blends different kinds of rock: alternative, pop rock and indie.
The band became widely known in 2016 with its own song “Bez nei niiak” on the X Factor show. Then came “Khochesh”, “Budu z toboiu!”, “Zori zapalaly”, “Moia kraina”, “Vilni liudy” and “DYM”. In 2020 Bez Obmezhen were the first in Ukraine to tour with drive-in concerts: 13 cities, with the audience listening right from their cars. Since the start of the full-scale war the band has been playing charity concerts; by the band’s own count, more than 100 million hryvnias have been raised to support Ukraine’s defence forces.
